Paula Creamer started playing golf at a young age as she grew up with her home overlooking the first tee on the Castlewood Country Club. At 10 years of age Paula was already actively on the golf course and by age 12 and she would win 13 regional junior events in California consecutively. Her golf game would continue to grow and at age 14 she would become the top ranked female junior golfer in the state. She would get the nickname ” Pink Panther” from a friend because of her love for the color pink which she often wears.

Creamer would enjoy a great amatuer career by winning 19 national tournaments  and was named player of the year by AJGA in 2003. Creamer would play on the US Junior Solheim Cup team in both 2002 and 2003. Paula would continue to win and play some very impressive golf as a junior and was a semi-finalist in the U.S. Girls Junior Championship in 2003 and the U.S. Women’s Amatuer Championship.

Creamer would go on to win the LPGA Tour Final Qualifying Tourny in December of 2004 in a very impressive fashion pulling away by 5 strokes. This win gained her membership  to the LPGA tour for the 2005 season , she would turn pro right after posting the win. Paula would log 3 more wins in the 2005 season and later named LPGA Rookie of the Year. Creamer has gone on to have a excellent pro career on the LPGA tour to date posting many wins and even rankings as high as #2 on the Womens World Golf Rankings.

Creamer has not only been a success on the golf course but she also strives off it aswell doing alot of charity work. Since coming onto the LPGA scene in 05′ Creamer has done charitable work with “The First Tee” and she holds a yearly event called “Paula 4 Kids Celebrity Event” which raises money for the first tee org. She has also generously donated scholarships to the IMG Golf Academy and appeared at many youth golf clinics.

Paula Creamer has definately added some class to the LPGA tour along with an added “eyecandy” factor. We look foward to seeing more of her on courses through out the seasons.
